Update: Victoria’s Skilled and Business Migration Program (2024-25)

For the 2024-25 program year, the Australian Government has allocated 5,000 skilled visa nominations to Victoria. This allocation is divided into:

  • 3,000 places for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)

  • 2,000 places for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)

    Regarding the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP), the Australian Government will permanently discontinue the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) (subclass 188) visa program from July 2024. Despite this, applications for the following will still be accepted:

  • Permanent visa nominations (subclass 888)

  • Extensions for the Business Innovation and Significant Investor streams
